Five Injured After Truck Brake Failure In India

Five people were injured after a truck carrying gravel suffered total brake failure and was unable to maneuver out of the way of two buses.

A jeep was additionally struck by the incident, and the vehicle was pushed to the far shoulder of the road, completely taking out anyone or anything in its way.

The injured were admitted to the local trauma center where the doctors referred one seriously injured person to the nearest emergency room.

Current reports state that after the gravel truck struck one of the buses, it was suddenly redirected and ran into a sweet shop situated near the scene of the incident. The other bus was reported to have smashed into the shop adjacent to it.

The driver of the truck, who fled after the accident, was charged by the police for rashness and negligence.
