According to sources, a 64-year-old Saudi man was killed when his car plunged into a 400-meter-deep abyss in the Gulf Kingdom after the vehicle’s brakes failed.

Saudi first-responders spent several hours to retrieve the body of the man in the valley in South Saudi Arabia.

“The man was driving his car in a rugged area when he came close to a dangerous narrow turn…he tried to slow down but the car brakes failed,” it said.
