Five people nearly escaped death last week in Nigeria after a trailer fully loaded with goods crushed two vehicles and rammed into the fence of a pharmacy.
Sources revealed that the trailer lost its brakes after leaving a gas station and ultimately swerved into a taxi cab after crossing through an intersection. The taxi cab ricocheted off of the trailer and and hit a jeep just before the trailer hit the pharmacy wall.
One witness, Mr Peter said, “it was just like watching a film, the way the trailer was moving to the left and right. We knew something was wrong. It then started pushing a taxi cab while other drivers and motorcyclists had to avoid being picked up by the trailer. We thank God that the taxi driver and passengers were fast enough to rush out before it crushed the taxi cab and hit the ATM beside FUMAC’s fence.”
Another witness interviewed said that the female passenger sustained a slight injury while the trailer driver, conductor and the two other passengers escaped unscathed.
