At about 12:45 PM Monday, an English man hailing from the town of Dunstable, crashed into the front of a pub narrowly avoiding pedestrians in the street.
Police were notified not to long after and found the man with a bloody nose, low moral and fuel oozing out of the car.
One eye witness recalls hearing a big ‘boom’ and rushing to the storefront to assess the situation. Another said that nobody was badly injured, but everyone ‘was just groggy’.
The pub has been shut down for further notice and currently the driver has not been charged.
Their was no sign of alcohol and drugs were ruled out as a factor as well. The current belief is that brake failure is to blame.
