Police were at the scene of a school bus crash Wednesday morning on I-95 in Virginia after they received a call about a bus on the side of the road.

According to reports, the school bus, loaded with kids, was passing an exit when it came up on stopped traffic. The driver attempted to stop, but her brakes went out causing the bus to veer left and scrape against a guardrail until the bus came to an abrupt halt.

Police did not cite the driver following an investigation of the vehicle.

The city and district the bus belonged to was kept anonymous.
