A flatbed trailer carrying over 1.5 million dollars worth of cars crashed yesterday in Xiamen, southeast China’s Fujian Province, after the driver failed to brake in time when he was cut off by another vehicle.
There was reportedly 11 different luxury cars, including Porsche’s, BMW’s and Range Rovers. 6 of the 11 cars, which were loaded on the top section of the carriage, were seriously damaged, while the others were classified as salvageable. Fortunately, though, all the cars were insured prior to the crash.
So far the local police have not yet confirmed whether the driver did not brake in time, or even braked at all. They are currently launching an investigation into the accident.
