Seventeen people are injured and eight are dead after a malicious school bus crash that occurred last Wednesday in Jakarta, Indonesia. According to local Indonesian news outlets, the incident happened while the bus was traveling down a steep hill heading towards a field trip destination.

Unfortunately, they never made it to that destination.

Instead, while rapidly traveling down the hill, the bus lost all control, went left-to-center and struck a minivan with 5 passengers in it. Only one passenger of the minivan was killed, the other seven were high school students and the bus driver.

Police and locals are blaming the catastrophe on brake failure, as to this is not the first time something like this has happened in Jakarta.
