There has to be some sort of accountability for drivers who have a brake failure and crash into a building. In most cases of brake failure, it is the driver’s neglect that leads to the failure of the brakes. It is just amazing that the officer on the scene did not look into why the brakes failed “suddenly”.
Driver smashes into building and car after brake failure
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There’s a huge mess to clean up after car brakes suddenly stopped working.
According to officials, the car’s brakes suddenly stopped working on the Toyota causing the driver to run into the side of a music club.
The impact left a big hole in the building, and took out the front window. Medic says no one was seriously injured.
According to police, no citations will be issued.
