Car Struck: Brake Failure in Buckeye State

FAIRBORN,OHIO- A construction worker was transported to a local Dayton Hospital yesterday after being struck by an oncoming vehicle. Shortly after the collision, medics immediately attended to the male flagger, identified as an employee of the Buckley Construction Company located in Pennsylvania.

The driver was identified as a 17 year-old girl, who told police she wasn’t speeding because her brakes had failed. Currently, the incident is being investigated by the Fairborn police. Fortunately for the victim, the driver is not going unpunished, receiving a “Failure to Control” citation for this terrible accident.

The victim is reported to be in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery very soon. This man is very lucky to be alive, and hopefully this incident serves as a ominous warning to drivers who don’t regularly check their brakes.
