Dunkin’ Damage: Woman Hits Pedestrian and Crashes Through Storefront

A woman unexpectedly crashed through the front of a Dunkin Donuts after first hitting a pedestrian while she was attempting to park last Sunday in Massachusetts, according to Boston News Center 5.

The pedestrian, who currently remains unidentified, was transported to a local hospital by ambulance following the crash. The current state of the pedestrian is unknown.

Police are investigating the crash, hoping to determine what caused the woman to literally speed through the front of the store with no regard for anything or anyone around her.

Police will review surveillance video from the building as part of the investigation.

The impact shattered a large panel of glass at the door’s entrance, cut down a large white column off the building and bent a large metal pole.

Police and fire responded to the scene after receiving several emergency calls at 11:25 a.m.

Officials were awaiting the town’s building inspector to survey the damage early Sunday afternoon
