This past Saturday, taking place on one of Dubai’s busy streets, a commute bus carrying 20 workers experienced brake failure and crashed into a nearby truck.

According to reports, the scene was gruesome, killing 15 men and injuring 8 others. The bus was said to be carrying workers to a job site, but was cut short after the bus driver lost all control and slammed into the truck.

The driver of the truck says he knows for a fact it was brake failure that caused the bus to slam into him. “A failure in the brake system forced him to park the truck on the road side.” he said.

For now, Dubai police are actively working to determine the names and nationalities of the deceased. As for the driver of the bus, he too was among the unfortunates that perished in the crash.
