Colorado is known for its beautiful mountains – but sometimes those mountain roads can turn deadly. According to an article from KISSPR.com and posted on StreetInsider.com, there are four leading causes of semi-truck crashes in the Centennial State.
Unperformed maintenance is the second-leading cause of crashes, including bad brakes.
Throw in Colorado’s often unpredictable and severe weather (No. 3) and cargo issues (No. 4) and you almost don’t need No. 1 on the hit parade to have problems
Of course, the biggie, driver error – coupled with a faulty braking system –means the runaway truck ramps are often the only things preventing disasters.
Awesome post! Keep up the great work! 🙂
