The Chicago Tribune published a great article on winter driving and how to maintain control of your vehicle. Mark Cox who is an instructor at the Bridgestone Ice Driving School dispenses some sage advice on how to drive on snow and ice covered roads.
Here is some of his advice:
-“All-wheel drive can cause a false sense of security.”
-“If you have a newer car that has ABS, you put your foot down on the brake and hold it down as hard as you can and allow the computer to pump the brakes for you.”
– “When you can see your breath, you need to pay attention.”
