An owner of a brand new Ferrari California crashed his ride last night after he applied too much pressure to the gas pedal, lost control of the Italian supercar and crashed into three cars in addition to a bus.
The crash took place in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, a home to supercars from all over the world.
Despite the graphic picture that basically illustrated that an ambulance and coroner were both en route, the driver of the Ferrari California is one lucky guy as he managed to escape from the crash and also to walk away basically unscathed. This cannot be said about his ride which will probably end up crushed as the vehicle was described as ‘totaled’.
The Ferrari California is powered by a 4.3 liter gasoline direct injected V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 450 HP. The engine is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.4 seconds and top speed stands at 310 km/h (193 mph). The California has been introduced in 2008 in Paris and it has been recently replaced by the California T.
