It seems to be a trend lately that some people think they can do anything because they saw it on the internet. It starts with maybe a home beer brewing kit, progresses to a book shelves and ends with the person thinking they can do their own brake job.

Some get it right, some get it horribly wrong. Brakes are not a crack in the drywall or a clogged sink, they are vital to the vehicle’s safety and the other drivers on the road. Most brake jobs on YouTube are not complete and often 100% wrong. The next time you see someone trying to do their own brakes, tell them to take it to a shop.
