Some car owners think that going to media about your problems with a dealer or manufacturer will blackmail them into fixing the problem. But, 99 percent of the time it makes the owner look like they are are the one with the problem.
Mr. Guo went to his dealer in China to complain about the brakes of his 2011 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. He asked for a new brake-system, damages for his injured passenger and for a free repair of his car. The dealer however said there was nothing wrong with the brakes and refused to pay Mr. Guo a single cent. Things went over and over for a few days and in the end Mr. Guo had enough.
He hired two painted girls to stand in front of the damaged vehicle that was parked in front of the dealership. In China, this car costs more than $400,000 USD.
