According to sources, a brake failure apparently triggered a T-bone crash shortly after noon Saturday in Georgia.
Police reports stated a 44-year-old Nevada man driving a 1997 Ford sedan passed through a stop sign after pushing his brakes, and into a path of a 2009 Toyota Prius that struck the Ford.
The Ford driver complained of head injuries and when to a local hospital while two others in the car suffered scratches but declined medical treatment.
The driver of the Toyota reported a bruise on her hand and seatbelt pain, but indicated she would seek medical attention on her own, police said.
Her son said his mother is in her 50s, lives in Winchester Hills and had two of his daughters as passengers.
Police representatives said the Ford driver faces a citation for failing to stop.
The St. George Fire Department also responded to the crash.
