A biker in Wisconsin was struck by a car last Saturday in Wisconsin, after a reckless driver curbed the sidewalk and hit her.

According to reports, the driver was wearing flip flops at the time of the accident and was unable to remove her foot from the gas when approaching a stop sign.

When she had finally freed her foot from the clutches of the gas pedal, it was already too late, she had slid through the stop sign and struck the biker.

Fortunately, the 68 year old cyclist only had a few minor bumps and bruises in addition to a fat lip. The driver, however, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
