Brake Failure: Cement Truck Learns A Concrete Lesson

Whiteford,CT- A cement truck overturned and hit a vehicle due to brake failure this past Monday. The cement truck was said to be turning on a road when it lost control and slammed into an oncoming Chevy Malibu. Troopers from the Bel Air Police Force arrived at the scene 10 minutes later and ruled out any possibility of the influence of alcohol or drugs in the accident.

According to Harford News, the driver of the Chevy, Nancy Ann Denton, 67, was air lifted to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Police said Denton is currently in stable condition without severe life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the truck, Warren Paul French, 55, of Glen Rock, Pa., was transported to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air to be treated for minor injuries, police said. As of now, it is not clear whether French will be charged with a moving violation.
