If you do not like horrible tecno music, turn down the volume.

What is on fire is probably the caliper seals and debris from the track. Some cheap pads will catch fire, the main thing that burns is the paint. Some NASCAR and racing pads do not have paint or use a very high temp for this reason.

On some high-quality pads, the backing plate will be plated not painted to prevent corrosion.
