Eight people were injured on Friday in a car accident in the Koh Phangan island in Thailand, Arutz Sheva reported.
The accident occurred when the driver of the cab experienced brake failure, lost control of the car and then overturned.
Seven of the eight suffered light injuries and were taken to a local hospital to be treated. The eighth victim was critically injured and was transported to an ICU.
Thailand is a popular destination for many tourists but is also too familiar with vehicle-related mishaps. There are constantly tourists traveling there for it’s sites and culture, as an all-night “Full Moon Party” will be held on the island on Saturday night.
