A six-year-old boy was almost blinded in a freak accident after a sausage skewer became impaled in his head.
Wang Zijun had been eating the snack while standing on the back seat of a car being driven by his father Wang Dong in the Anhui province of China.
But when the car was suddenly forced to brake hard, Zijun jerked forward and somehow thrust the bamboo skewer 1.5cm into his own eye.
